Must have: laksa paste, available in Asian/ Chinese supermarkets, Tesco or waitrose; egg noodle or rice noodle. Coconut milk

Other main ingredients and their Alternatives: sliced chicken breast or legs, sea food, bean sprouts, tofu. Dry chilly, crushed chilly. Lime. Shallots

Fry shallots with chillies and paste, add chicken(or not), bean sprouts, coconut milk, water. Till boil, then add tofu and other things you like. Stir, simmer. Done. Yum! Reminds me of the Malaysian restaurant in Edinburgh beloved by many.
